The link below goes to a piece, in a local newspaper review of 1975 published some years ago, of RTE pilot community radio broadcasts in Kilkenny in 1975. This must have been one of the first ones, if not the first one, of the many temporary RTE community radio set-ups nationwide over more than a decade. Anyone know more? And when and where was the last RTE community radio pilot in the country?

I'm almost certain that Community Radio West was the final one in the series. While Kilkenny was among the first, the inaugural project, I believe, was Radio Liberties. Breandan O Ciobhain must have directed both.
